How much does parking cost?

You can park up at any Onroute Truckstop for up to 2 hours for free. Secure overnight parking is available from £28.80 inc VAT

We accept Snap, Travis and M-Park. Depending on your own company policy, parking deals can include showers and a £9.00 voucher for the café.

What are your opening hours?

Onroute Truckstops opening hours are as follow;

How can I pay for parking?

You can pay for parking in our cafés or shops (please see opening hours above). You can pay by debit card, credit card or cash, and we also accept Snap, Travis, M-Park and most fuel cards. Overnight parking deals can include showers and a £9.00 voucher that can be used in the café.

How do I pay for parking if the premises is closed?

In most case, drivers arrive before our service buildings close or after they re-open so will be able to pay in the shop or café. If you do need to pay outside these hours, our overnight security staff will be able to assist.

Do I need to book overnight parking or can I just turn up?

We do not currently offer pre-booking for parking so operate on a first-come first-serve basis. We recommend turning up as early as possible to be assured a place.

Which fuel cards do you accept?

We accept the following fuel cards.

Please note, all our sites have automatic 24/7 ‘pay at pump’ card readers so you will need your PIN to refuel.

Can I pay for fuel by cash or card?

You can ‘pay at pump’ 24/7 for fuel by debit or credit card at Ulceby Truckstop but not any of our other sites.

We do not accept cash payments for fuel at any of our sites.

What security measures do Onroute Truckstops have in place?

For overnight parking we take security very seriously. At Avon Lodge the secure lorry park is locked at 9pm and the PIN to get out is changed daily. At Ulceby, Junction 29 and Swindon, we have manned overnight security patrolling the sites. All sites have flood lighting, CCTV and perimeter fencing, and Ulceby also benefits from barriers to prevent unauthorised access. We are working towards TAPA accreditation for all our sites.

Do you accept campervans for overnight stay?

Yes, we do but we recommend you arrive early to get a parking place as most sites fill up pretty quickly and you cannot book in advance.

What time is the truck wash open until?

There are truck washes at Avon Lodge and Junction 29 operated by LPW (Europe) Ltd, opening hours are currently as follows;

Do you have any job vacancies?

What are your quiet parking hours?

We operate a no noise policy between 10pm and 6am. During this time refrigerated lorries need to be switched off unless specifically agreed with the site manager/parking attendant. This will usually only be possible when we can provide parking away from the main area.

Can anyone use the washing and drying machines?

We have washing and drying machines at Junction 29, Swindon and Ulceby. These are available for anyone to use. The machines can handle wash and dry loads of up to 18kg. Washing powder is automatically dispensed, you can purchase and add softener or sanitizer separately. Please see individual machines for length of wash and dry cycles.

Do you allow dogs onsite?

We have very large vehicles moving around our sites so do not encourage bringing dogs on to our sites. If drivers do have dogs with them, they must ensure they are always kept on a lead and that any dog mess is immediately cleaned up.

Do you deliver online food orders?

Can van drivers refuel at Onroute Truckstops?

Van drivers can now refuel at any Onroute Truckstop. Diesel is available at all our Truckstops, and Renewable Diesel (HVO) is available for vans at Junction 29 and Ulceby.

Are there specific pumps for vans to use?

The table below shows which pumps are suitable for van drivers, which offer diesel and which offer Renewable Diesel (HVO).

How does the barrier at Ulceby work?

To gain access to our Ulceby site simply take a ticket on arrival at the entrance. If you stay for up to 2 hours, when you leave simply re-insert the ticket at the exit barrier and it will automatically raise to let you out. If you stay more than 2 hours, when you pay for parking the staff will validate your ticket so it lets you out.

Can the general public use a truckstop?

We welcome all visitors to our Onroute Truckstops and actively encourage people in the local area or passers-by to use our facilities including our café, shop, and our washing machines. We politely ask customers bringing children with them to take extra care and ensure that they do not walk in the lorry parks or refuelling areas. If you have any questions please give the site a call.

Can I drive in with a car?

Yes, you can drive in to any of our Onroute Truckstops with most vehicles. You just need to bear in mind that there will be large lorries on site so please take car and make sure you park in the area designated for cars which is usually located close to the service building.

Can anyone use the meeting rooms?

Avon Lodge, Junction 29 and Swindon Truckstops have rooms which can be hired for meetings, staff training or other group events. These are available to anyone by prior arrangement with the local Site Lead.

What is a truckstop?

Truckstops are essentially service stations for truck drivers. A safe place to park up, either for a few hours in the day or overnight, and shower, get a hot meal, relax, and refuel ready for their next working day.

What do you sell in your shops?

The on-site shops at Onroute Truckstops are all slightly different. Essentially, we try to cater for a driver’s needs, so we offer drinks and snacks as well as other useful items for when they are on the road. In fact, our J29 Truckstop has one of largest selection of trucking products in the UK.
