Let them eat cake - Ulceby celebrates the Queen's platinum jubilee in style

Ulceby Truckstop celebrated the Queen's platinum jubilee in style with a fabulous tiered cake!

Chef Julie loves an excuse to do some creative baking and this was the perfect opportunity. Drivers visiting Ulceby were offered huge slices of home baked cake with layers of red, white and blue sponge with a cream filling, white icing and an elegant ribbon featuring images of the queen.

Any frequent visitors to Ulceby Truckstop know there will always be a selection of delicious home made cakes in the cafe - a welcome treat for hungry drivers and perfect with a cuppa. Perhaps not ideal for anyone counting the calories, but as they say; "A little of what you fancy..."
