Bigging up the Burger at the Onroute Cafes

Onroute is updating its menu with a fantastic new, bigger and better Pretzel Burger meal. 

The burger has always been a popular choice with drivers, often seen as a convenient tasty snack. This new burger meal is far more substantial!

What you get

The meal includes a 6oz burger (that’s 50% bigger than the usual burger) made of 100% quality beef and served in a delicious pretzel bun with a pretzel style crust and a soft, fluffy interior.

The burger ‘stack’ includes a rasher of bacon, a slice of cheese, gherkin, tomato, red onion and tomato relish. The meal also includes a generous portion of chips, coleslaw and a side salad.

A winning combination

“We wanted to come up with something a bit different," said General Truckstop Manager, David Hatherell, "retain the essence of our popular burger but make it bigger and better – more Stand-Out. From initial feedback we’ve hit the spot with our Onroute Pretzel Burger. Our tasting team loved the extra meat and enjoyed the tasty pretzel style bun as well as all the trimmings. The chips and coleslaw are a sure-to-please addition making this a winning combination."
