Raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Support

Onroute Truckstops recently took part in the official Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraiser.

Our amazing staff put their hearts and souls into baking delicious homemade cakes to sell, as well as organising raffles and tombolas with some brilliant prizes to help raise funds.

We probably all know someone whose life has been touched by cancer, so it's good to be able to support Macmillan's amazing work.

Such generous support! 

Drivers and other visitors to our cafes were really supportive and we recieved generous donations from many people. The grand total raised across our sites ended up being well beyond our initial expectaions. 

Raffle tickets are being drawn this week and winners will be notified so they can pop in to collect their prizes. 

Jay Nair, Head of Mabanaft UK, said; "This was a fantastic group effort for a very worthy cause. We probably all know someone whose life has been touched by cancer, so it's good to be able to support Macmillan's amazing work. "

A total of £2308.60 was raised across the four sites with Onroute Truckstops contributing an additional £500 making the total raised to £2808.60.
